Directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Martin
County Donations support
our children's programs. It takes dollars to recruit, screen, and
support volunteers efforts with children. And group recreational
activities or parties for children need "angels" to help underwrite
them.
Special Event Sponsorships Support of our special events like "A Taste of Martin County",
Santa Claus Open, The "Big" Tennis Tournament or the Vega Concert all fund the
mentoring of local children, highlight our work in the community,
and create an awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters. See Events for

Foundation Making a current, planned, or deferred
gift will have a tremendous impact on deserving children. You might
consider any of these gifts: property or securities, cash, real
estate, charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, or insurance.

We are proven
effective. During FY 05-06, ending June 2006, agency-wide successes
were:

supported 254 mentoring relationships between local kids and
volunteers
Served 444
kids agency wide
Exceeded all
grant goals for service to children
Successfully completed pilot program in Indiantown and received
for 06-07
Department
of Education (BISS Grant) funding increased to $138,000 from
$62,000 in 03/04.
Recognized
publicly by Children's Service Council for exceptional operational
performance.
